Software maintenance and support that keeps your product moving

Software maintenance and support services for products already in production. We monitor, fix, upgrade and extend your system, including code another team wrote and left behind.

We work remotely with companies in the US, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and anywhere else.Where and how we work

When the software works, but nobody owns it

  • The original vendor is gone

The agency or freelancer who built your product stopped answering, moved on or shut down. Your business depends on the system and there is no one to call when it breaks.

  • Nobody understands the codebase

There is no documentation, the architecture decisions were never written down and every small change breaks something elsewhere. Your team avoids touching it, and the backlog only grows.

  • Security updates keep slipping

Frameworks and libraries past end of life, certificates about to expire, servers without patches. The risk builds quietly until an outage or an incident forces an emergency fix.

What the service covers

Ongoing work with a clear scope: stabilize first, improve next and keep everything current.

  • Technical audit at takeover

We review code, infrastructure, dependencies and security, and hand you a plain-English report: what is solid, what is a risk and what is worth rebuilding.

  • Monitoring and alerting

Logs, metrics and alerts that catch errors, slowdowns and outages before your users report them, with a named owner responding to each alert.

  • Dependency and security upgrades

Frameworks, libraries and infrastructure kept on supported versions, with tests run before every upgrade so staying current never means breaking production.

  • Bug fixing

Issues handled within the response times set in your service agreement, each one logged with what happened, how it was fixed and what changed so it does not come back.

  • New features

The improvements your business needs, shipped in frequent releases and prioritized with you by the value they bring.

  • Legacy software modernization

Ageing systems moved to current technology in stages, module by module, without stopping the business or betting everything on one big switch-over.

How we take over a software project

Taking over a software project does not start with writing code. First we get access to the repository, the servers and every third-party account the system relies on. That inventory is often the first finding: credentials scattered across inboxes, or registered to someone who left years ago.

With access in place we run the technical audit and propose a stabilization plan. The urgent items come first: backups, security patches and the bugs your users actually hit. Once the system is stable we move to continuous improvement, at a release cadence we agree on together.

  • Access and inventory of repository, servers and services
  • Technical audit with prioritized risks
  • Stabilization plan before new features
  • Continuous improvement with frequent releases

No lock-in

We document what we find and what we change, so knowledge of the system stays in your company. If you later decide to bring maintenance in-house or hand it to another team, they inherit a system they can understand.

How we work

Before we quote the build, you click through your system in a prototype. After that, you see progress every week. No surprises.

  1. We learn your business

Discovery meetings to understand your business and the features you need, before we propose anything.

    You get:
A requirements document with the agreed scope.
    Typical time:
    1–2 weeks
  2. Clickable prototype

Click through your system's screens and validate every flow before any code is written.

    You get:
A clickable prototype to share with your team.
    Typical time:
    1–2 weeks
  3. Quote with options

A phased proposal with alternatives, so you choose the scope and budget that fit.

    You get:
A detailed phased quote, with discovery and the prototype deducted.
    Typical time:
    2–3 days after prototype approval
  4. Phased development

We build in phases and show you working software at the end of each one.

    You get:
A demo per phase, a short weekly update and a test environment to watch your system take shape.
    Typical time:
    Set in the quote
  5. Testing

We test every flow, and your team signs off before anything goes live.

    You get:
A release ready for your approval.
    Typical time:
    Set in the quote
  6. Launch and handover

We launch your system or app, train your team and hand over every account.

    You get:
Servers, app store listings and domains in your name; the code and design are yours once paid in full.
    Typical time:
    Set in the quote
  7. Warranty and support

Every project comes with a 60-day warranty. After that, you choose how we continue.

    You get:
Free fixes during the warranty, then a monthly plan or hourly support.
    Typical time:
    60-day warranty, then ongoing

Software maintenance and support FAQ

Can you take over software built by another team?

Yes. We start with a technical audit that tells you what is solid, what is a risk and what is worth rebuilding, then propose a stabilization plan before any new features.

How is support priced?

Every project we build has a 60-day warranty, with fixes at no cost. When it ends, you choose a monthly maintenance plan with a bank of hours or support by the hour when you need it. The model and the cost are set in the quote, based on the size of the system, what you need covered and how much new development you expect each month.

What response times do you offer?

Response times are agreed in the service agreement we sign with you, together with how the severity of each incident is classified.

Do you modernize legacy systems?

Yes, incrementally and without stopping the business. Each stage replaces one part of the system while the rest keeps running.

How do you work with companies in other countries?

We work remotely with companies anywhere, on UTC-5 all year, and bill in USD. We can work in English or Spanish, with video calls, shared tools and deliveries you can try yourself.

  • Web applications

Fast, secure and easy-to-use platforms, portals and dashboards, ready to grow with you.

  • Mobile apps

Apps for iOS and Android that feel native and, when your operation needs it, work offline.

  • Ecuador

An engineering partner in a nearby time zone that bills in dollars, works in English and ships often.

  • Nearshore Latin America

A partner in a nearby time zone: live calls, same-day demos and decisions that keep moving at your pace.
