Custom software development, built around how you work

Software that fits how your business runs, not the other way round: internal systems, portals and automation, designed and built by the engineers you talk to, from first prototype to production support.

We work remotely with companies in the US, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and anywhere else.Where and how we work

When off-the-shelf stops fitting the business

  • Operations running on spreadsheets

Orders, approvals or inventory tracked in shared files and email threads, with one person who knows where everything lives. One broken formula or stale copy and the monthly report no longer adds up.

  • Licenses that force you to change

You pay for modules nobody uses, and your team still bends its workflow to match the product. The process that sets you apart ends up outside the software, done by hand.

  • Systems that do not talk to each other

Billing, CRM, warehouse and website each keep their own version of the truth. People spend hours re-typing data between screens and nobody fully trusts the numbers.

What we build

Bespoke software shaped around your workflow, scoped so your team can start using it early.

  • Internal business systems

A custom ERP or CRM with only the modules your operation needs: customers, orders, inventory, billing or whatever your business runs on, with clear roles and permissions.

  • Customer and supplier portals

Private areas where customers track orders, download documents or raise requests, and suppliers upload information without back-and-forth emails.

  • Workflow and approval automation

Requests, approvals and notifications that follow rules you define, with a full history of who approved what and when.

  • Reporting dashboards

Operational metrics calculated from the live data in your systems, always current, with no weekly spreadsheet assembly.

  • Legacy system migration

We move data and processes from an aging system, or from spreadsheets, to a new platform in stages, without stopping day-to-day operations.

Custom or off-the-shelf? An honest call

Not everything should be built from scratch. If your process is standard, such as basic accounting, buying a product is usually cheaper and faster. Custom software development pays off when the process is your edge, when you pay for features you never use, or when no product connects the tools you already have.

That is why every project starts with a discovery session. If an existing product is the better answer, we say so; if what you need is to connect it with your other systems, an integration often beats a new system.

How a custom project runs

Before we quote the build, you click through your system in a prototype. After that, you see progress every week. No surprises.

  1. We learn your business

Discovery meetings to understand your business and the features you need, before we propose anything.

    You get:
A requirements document with the agreed scope.
    Typical time:
    1–2 weeks
  2. Clickable prototype

Click through your system's screens and validate every flow before any code is written.

    You get:
A clickable prototype to share with your team.
    Typical time:
    1–2 weeks
  3. Quote with options

A phased proposal with alternatives, so you choose the scope and budget that fit.

    You get:
A detailed phased quote, with discovery and the prototype deducted.
    Typical time:
    2–3 days after prototype approval
  4. Phased development

We build in phases and show you working software at the end of each one.

    You get:
A demo per phase, a short weekly update and a test environment to watch your system take shape.
    Typical time:
    Set in the quote
  5. Testing

We test every flow, and your team signs off before anything goes live.

    You get:
A release ready for your approval.
    Typical time:
    Set in the quote
  6. Launch and handover

We launch your system or app, train your team and hand over every account.

    You get:
Servers, app store listings and domains in your name; the code and design are yours once paid in full.
    Typical time:
    Set in the quote
  7. Warranty and support

Every project comes with a 60-day warranty. After that, you choose how we continue.

    You get:
Free fixes during the warranty, then a monthly plan or hourly support.
    Typical time:
    60-day warranty, then ongoing

Custom software development FAQ

Why build custom software instead of buying off-the-shelf?

When your process is your edge, or when you are paying for licenses that force you to change how you work. For standard processes, an existing product is usually the better choice.

How much does custom software development cost?

It depends on scope, integrations and number of users. After a discovery session we send a phased quote with deliverables and dates, so you know what each stage delivers.

How do you work with companies in other countries?

We work remotely with companies anywhere, on UTC-5 all year, and bill in USD. We can work in English or Spanish, with video calls, shared tools and deliveries you can try yourself.

Who owns the code?

You do. Once the project is paid in full, the source code and design become your company's property and we hand them over with their documentation whenever you ask, with no licenses tied to Adelmi. Third-party libraries keep their own licenses, and the terms are written into the contract. Every project also has a 60-day warranty: if something we built does not work as agreed, we fix it at no cost.

Can it connect to the tools we already use?

Yes. We integrate with your ERP, CRM, payment providers and other third-party services so data is never re-typed by hand.

API integration
  • Web applications

Fast, secure and easy-to-use platforms, portals and dashboards, ready to grow with you.

  • API integration

Payment gateways, ERPs, e-invoicing and third-party services connected without friction.

  • Ecuador

An engineering partner in a nearby time zone that bills in dollars, works in English and ships often.

  • Nearshore Latin America

A partner in a nearby time zone: live calls, same-day demos and decisions that keep moving at your pace.
