API and systems integration services

API integration services that make your tools share one version of the truth. We connect your software to payment gateways, ERPs, CRMs and third-party APIs, with the monitoring and retries that keep data from getting lost.

We work remotely with companies in the US, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and anywhere else.Where and how we work

When your team is the integration layer

  • Re-typing data between systems

Orders from the online store are keyed into the ERP by hand, CRM contacts are exported into billing, and every report starts with stitching CSV files together. Each manual copy costs time and invites mistakes.

  • Payments that never reconcile

The payment processor, the bank statement and your internal records each tell a different story. At month end someone goes line by line hunting for the duplicate charge, the refund nobody recorded or the payout that never arrived.

  • Brittle point-to-point scripts

A script written years ago moves data overnight, nobody remembers how it works, and when a vendor changes its API the sync quietly stops. You find out from a customer, not from an alert.

What we integrate and build

Integrations designed to fail safely: when a third-party service goes down, your business keeps running and pending work waits to be processed.

  • Payment gateway integration

Card and alternative payments, subscriptions, refunds and status webhooks from payment gateways and acquirers, reconciled automatically against your orders so every transaction has a matching record.

  • ERP and CRM integration

Customers, products, inventory and orders kept in sync between your ERP, CRM, e-commerce platform and the SaaS tools your team relies on, with one clear source of truth for each record.

  • API development

When customers or partners need to connect to you, we design and build a clean API with an OpenAPI specification, authentication, rate limits and a sandbox, so they can integrate without pulling in your engineers.

  • Webhooks, queues and retries

Event-driven processing with queues, exponential backoff and idempotency keys, so a repeated event does not double-charge a customer and a failed event is retried instead of leaving an order unbilled.

  • Monitoring and alerting

Structured logs for every call, dashboards showing the health of each integration and alerts when something breaks, so your team hears about it before your customers do.

System integration services built for outages

Every third-party service fails eventually: a slow payment gateway, a vendor in a maintenance window, an API version that is retired with short notice. What matters is how your system responds. We design each integration with retries, queues, idempotency and alerting, so a temporary outage recovers on its own and pending payments and invoices are processed once the service is back.

Before writing code we read each vendor's documentation, test its sandbox and check its rate limits and webhook guarantees. The integration plan reflects how the provider actually behaves, not just what its marketing page promises.

  • Retries with exponential backoff
  • Idempotency to prevent duplicate charges and records
  • Dashboards and alerts for every integration

How an integration project runs

Before we quote the build, you click through your system in a prototype. After that, you see progress every week. No surprises.

  1. We learn your business

Discovery meetings to understand your business and the features you need, before we propose anything.

    You get:
A requirements document with the agreed scope.
    Typical time:
    1–2 weeks
  2. Clickable prototype

Click through your system's screens and validate every flow before any code is written.

    You get:
A clickable prototype to share with your team.
    Typical time:
    1–2 weeks
  3. Quote with options

A phased proposal with alternatives, so you choose the scope and budget that fit.

    You get:
A detailed phased quote, with discovery and the prototype deducted.
    Typical time:
    2–3 days after prototype approval
  4. Phased development

We build in phases and show you working software at the end of each one.

    You get:
A demo per phase, a short weekly update and a test environment to watch your system take shape.
    Typical time:
    Set in the quote
  5. Testing

We test every flow, and your team signs off before anything goes live.

    You get:
A release ready for your approval.
    Typical time:
    Set in the quote
  6. Launch and handover

We launch your system or app, train your team and hand over every account.

    You get:
Servers, app store listings and domains in your name; the code and design are yours once paid in full.
    Typical time:
    Set in the quote
  7. Warranty and support

Every project comes with a 60-day warranty. After that, you choose how we continue.

    You get:
Free fixes during the warranty, then a monthly plan or hourly support.
    Typical time:
    60-day warranty, then ongoing

API integration FAQ

Which payment gateways can you integrate?

Payment gateways and acquirers that offer a documented API. The right choice depends on your markets, payment methods and volume; if you have not picked one yet, we help you compare options before integrating.

How do you handle third-party outages?

With retries, queues, idempotency and alerting. When the service comes back, pending events are processed in order and without duplicates, and your team is notified while it is happening.

Can you design and document our public API?

Yes. We deliver an OpenAPI specification, usage examples and a sandbox environment, so partners can build against your API without waiting on your team.

Do you have fintech experience?

Yes. Payments, acquiring and financial core systems are our deepest experience; our fintech page explains what we build.

Who owns the integration code?

You do. Once the project is paid in full, the source code and design become your company's property and we hand them over with their documentation whenever you ask, with no licenses tied to Adelmi. Third-party libraries keep their own licenses, and the terms are written into the contract. Every project also has a 60-day warranty: if something we built does not work as agreed, we fix it at no cost.

How do you work with companies in other countries?

We work remotely with companies anywhere, on UTC-5 all year, and bill in USD. We can work in English or Spanish, with video calls, shared tools and deliveries you can try yourself.

  • AI development

AI assistants, automation and analytics connected to your systems and your data.

  • Custom software

Systems designed around how you operate, not adapted templates. We automate processes and connect your team.

  • Ecuador

An engineering partner in a nearby time zone that bills in dollars, works in English and ships often.

  • Nearshore Latin America

A partner in a nearby time zone: live calls, same-day demos and decisions that keep moving at your pace.
