Fintech software development, from payments to reconciliation

Fintech software development is where our experience runs deepest: payments, acquiring and financial cores. We build payment platforms, reconciliation and integrations for fintechs in Latin America, the US and beyond, with security designed in from day one.

In payments, small bugs cost real money

  • Double charges and lost payments

A webhook delivered twice, a timeout with no response or a careless retry, and a customer is charged twice or a paid order sits as pending. Each one becomes a support ticket and a dent in trust.

  • Month-end reconciliation by hand

Acquirer reports, bank statements and your own ledger never quite match, and the finance team spends days explaining every difference line by line.

  • Every new payment method is a rewrite

Adding an acquirer, a local payment method or a new country means touching the whole codebase, because each provider's logic is tangled with everything else.

What we build for fintech

Financial software where every movement has a record, every event is processed once and every access is audited.

  • Payment platforms and orchestration

Transaction routing across acquirers, retry rules and a common layer that adds payment methods without rewriting the rest of the system.

  • Checkouts and payment integrations

Merchant-facing payment flows, payment gateway and acquirer integrations, and the handling of refunds, chargebacks and every transaction state in between.

  • Wallets and accounts

We can build balances, movements and transfers on a double-entry ledger, where no balance changes without an entry that explains it.

  • Automated reconciliation

Daily matching of transactions against acquirer and bank reports, with mismatches flagged for review instead of a spreadsheet at month end.

  • Financial core and back office

Internal tools for operations, support and finance: transaction search, merchant management, reporting and role-based permissions.

Security by design

In payment platform development, security is not a phase at the end. Whenever possible we use the payment provider’s tokenization so card numbers never touch your servers and your PCI DSS scope stays minimal. If your platform must handle card data, we design it with the controls that standard requires. Everything else is decided in the architecture, before the first line of code.

Your regulatory obligations depend on your market, your license and your providers. We design the system to make meeting them easier, with complete audit trails, separated environments and least-privilege access.

  • Idempotent webhooks, so a repeated event does not charge twice
  • Automated reconciliation against acquirers and banks
  • Audit trails for every operation and every access
  • Least-privilege access, with secrets kept out of the code

Payment integrations across Latin America

Each Latin American market has its own payment methods, acquirers and rules. If you are a US company expanding south, or a regional fintech growing across borders, we isolate each provider behind its own adapter, so adding a local method or a new acquirer is a contained task rather than a system-wide change.

How a fintech project runs

Before we quote the build, you click through your system in a prototype. After that, you see progress every week. No surprises.

  1. We learn your business

Discovery meetings to understand your business and the features you need, before we propose anything.

    You get:
A requirements document with the agreed scope.
    Typical time:
    1–2 weeks
  2. Clickable prototype

Click through your system's screens and validate every flow before any code is written.

    You get:
A clickable prototype to share with your team.
    Typical time:
    1–2 weeks
  3. Quote with options

A phased proposal with alternatives, so you choose the scope and budget that fit.

    You get:
A detailed phased quote, with discovery and the prototype deducted.
    Typical time:
    2–3 days after prototype approval
  4. Phased development

We build in phases and show you working software at the end of each one.

    You get:
A demo per phase, a short weekly update and a test environment to watch your system take shape.
    Typical time:
    Set in the quote
  5. Testing

We test every flow, and your team signs off before anything goes live.

    You get:
A release ready for your approval.
    Typical time:
    Set in the quote
  6. Launch and handover

We launch your system or app, train your team and hand over every account.

    You get:
Servers, app store listings and domains in your name; the code and design are yours once paid in full.
    Typical time:
    Set in the quote
  7. Warranty and support

Every project comes with a 60-day warranty. After that, you choose how we continue.

    You get:
Free fixes during the warranty, then a monthly plan or hourly support.
    Typical time:
    60-day warranty, then ongoing

Payments experience

  • A payment orchestration and acquiring platform in Latin America

We worked on a platform that routes transactions across multiple acquirers, integrates acquirers and payment methods, and gives merchants a checkout to accept payments from their customers.

Fintech software development FAQ

Have you worked with payment gateways and acquirers?

Yes. Payments and acquiring are our deepest experience: transaction routing across acquirers, integrations with acquirers and payment methods, and merchant-facing checkouts.

How do you handle card data?

Whenever possible we use the payment provider’s tokenization so card numbers never touch your servers and your PCI DSS scope stays minimal. If your platform must handle card data, we design it with the controls that standard requires.

Do you handle regulatory compliance?

Your obligations depend on your market, your license and your providers. We design the system to support them, with audit trails, separated environments and least-privilege access.

Can you integrate with banks?

We can build them when the bank offers an API or a file-exchange channel, with retries and reconciliation so every movement is recorded.

API integration
How do you work with companies in other countries?

We work remotely with companies anywhere, on UTC-5 all year, and bill in USD. We can work in English or Spanish, with video calls, shared tools and deliveries you can try yourself.

  • API integration

Payment gateways, ERPs, e-invoicing and third-party services connected without friction.

  • AI development

AI assistants, automation and analytics connected to your systems and your data.

  • Custom software

Systems designed around how you operate, not adapted templates. We automate processes and connect your team.

  • Nearshore Latin America

A partner in a nearby time zone: live calls, same-day demos and decisions that keep moving at your pace.
